Christian Bautista

April 19th, 2007 by oni-angel129

One of the best pop idols in the Philippines is Christian Bautista, and he’s an all-time idol of mine! "Crush ko siya pare!" I have first of this famous singer with a song he revived "Hands to Heaven" I was in High School back then. Then the next song I got familiar with is entitled "The Way You Look at Me". I was then in 4th Year, since then his songs really catched me, I started downloading all of his songs, the english ones lang. He then became my singer idol! (I am currently listening to his songs as I type this post.) I remembered my best friend asked me, "Ton, wala ba kay adlaw na dili maminaw og songs ni Christian Bautista?" I, of course, said yes! Hehehe! That’s true y’know.

One of my favorite CB songs are:

Colors Everywhere
Everything You Do

Invincible

I Can Love You Easy

and She Could Be

But my most favorite of all his songs is his latest single, Trying To Get The Feeling Again! Wow! I really like it! (Wait a minute, lemme switch the song I am listening now to that song… … … … *click, click, switched* Okay I am done, where were we?… ) Oh… Hehehe! Lemme provide you with the Lyrics:

At any moment she’ll be walking through that door
She won’t find me behind it
cause the feeling is gone and
just won’t come back anymore
I work so hard to find it

I’ve been up, down, trying to get the feeling again
All around, trying to get the feeling again
The one that make me shiver
Make my knees start to quiver
Every time she walks in

I’ve looked high, low
Everywhere I possibly can
But there’s just no trying to get the feeling again
It seemed to disappear as fast as it came

read every book
look for every meditation and poem
just to bring home that old sweet sensation
but it ain’t no used to me, trying to get the feeling again

Where did it run to? I thought I’d done all that I could
To keep the love burning
But whatever I’ve done, I just haven’t done it too good
Cause all that’s left is yearning

I’ve been up, down, trying to get the feeling again
Like a bloodhound searching for a long lost friend
could you help me rediscover
the way to re be her lover once again

read every book
look for every meditation and poem
just to bring home that old sweet sensation
But it ain’t no used to me, to try and get that feeling
I want to get that feeling again

I’ve been up, down, trying to get the feeling again
I’ve been up, down, trying to get the feeling again
I’ve been up, down, trying to get the feeling again
trying to get the feeling again

Weirdest Seatwork Ever!

April 19th, 2007 by oni-angel129

Today, (July 2007) in our Literatures of the World class, we have given the weirdest seatwork ever I have recieved in all my school life! Before I tell ya what’s that, lemme first give ya a hint. We were discussing the “Epic of Gilgamesh” It is the oldest “daw” known literature in the world… Its an epic ’bout a king named Gilgamesh ruling the city of Uruk and his quest for eternal life. In short, he’s searching for the key of immortality. But in the end (i’m spoiling you the ending if you happen to be interested.) Gilgamesh didn’t became immortal as he had wished and now trembles in death. Our instuctor which is kindda young at heart, (you know, the likes of a person who removes her sandals and stands at a top of a chair and starts discussing.) started discussing that tombs (lapidas in cebuano) in a cemetery has this “A loving father, brother, etcetera” is so common she says. It was so common “daw” to her, and for her, it means that Mr. so and so who has the “loving role” in her tomb lived just the same with another Mr. so and so because the 2nd guy has also the “A loving father, brother, etcetera” engraved in his tomb. Haha! Get me? Our instructor said if she were in that guys shoes, she would place something a line which is more poetic…

So that was I am trying to tell you. The weirdest seatwork I ever had was to write what would your lapida will look like and what inscription will it have. Haha! It felt like my days are counted and feeling eerie thinking over what my tomb will look like when I die… Brrr… Scary!

Ayy God, see ya in the next post!

Overlay Layout

April 14th, 2007 by oni-angel129

As everyone notices, I have some unique profile, and for those who don’t know how did I done it. I get to recieve messages and posts in chatbox saying something like "Ganda ng profile mo ah! Paano mo ginawa? Gawan mo nman ako!" and sometimes others will really keep sending me messages even if I did answer their questions. Samok usahay na. So i’ll tell them how I did it.

You must have a simple knowledge ’bout HTML and how it works. If you don’t know what’s that, then that’s your problem. Then you proceed to Mark Loreto’s website @ www.markyctrigger.com and find some tutorials there. After you made your website. Just paste your code in the Overlay Generator and paste the generated codes to the media box. You know, Mark Loreto is one of the geniuses in the Internet world! Damn he’s a genius! And the most thing is! He’s a pinoy! He’s the first guy in the world to put an edge in profile designing. Covering the old friendster page design into a one of a kind, customizable page you could ever imagined! Not just Friendster but MySpace, Multiply, Xanga, Hi5 and many more to come!

In my story, that was a year or two ago, I was enjoying myself in designing the original friendster profile (or we call it "Non-Overlay Layout.) using some tweaks and codes from Friendster-Tweakers.com, in that site, that’s were I first heard the name Markyctrigger. But when I read it. You need to have a knowledge creating a website from scrap. Well, I can’t do that. Just some simple HTML. I didn’t mnd that. I continue designing my page. As I was searching in Google, I encountered the website FriendsterForum.com, in that site, its a forum, I registered there, enjoy the company… There’s a thread there "Overlay Tutorial" by a forumer named Vkey, so I read that tutorial and studied it.  Requires Adobe Photoshop and it happens I know how to use Photoshop. So that’s the start and creted my very first overlay layout, and that’s my profile now, revised more than 10 times I think? But it underwent only 5 versions. From Friendster Forum I proceeded to Markyctrigger because its much better than FF, and the Overlay Generator is Marky’s brillant idea.

So there you have it, go to Marky’s site and EDUCATE YOURSELF! See ya in the next post!

Starting a Blog…

April 14th, 2007 by oni-angel129

My Literature teacher said one time in our class "is your life worth writing for?" That sentence really motivated me in starting my blog in friendster. I dont know if my life is worth writing for. But still, it’s for my keepsake… This is me, starting a blog or more like an electronic journal… I can read my posts again when I grow old and reminisce the past. Haha! Blog is for public viewing, but I don’t expect most of my friends will go into my profile, wait for my loading page to end, and go to my blog. My life is not interesting, its worth a pain! ^^, Well, anyway, like I said, its for my keepsake for the future. But of course, if someone will go to my blog, they are welcome, everybody’s welcome. You, him, her, friends, enemies and all of the people in ze world!

What will I say before my very first post ends…. hmm, then "Welcome to my Blog surfers…" If get to have a title for my blog, I will be titling it as "100% Me: Oni Angel’s Blog"

See ya in the next post. (Am I talking to no one?)
